Credibility is the whole point. When we get something wrong, we fix it plainly and promptly.
What We Correct
We write headlines and short framing; the reporting itself lives at the sources we link. If we mischaracterize a story, attach the wrong link, misstate a fact in our own words, or a source we linked is itself corrected or retracted, we will update or remove our item.
How to Request a Correction
Email hello@raptureradar.com with the headline, the date, and what is inaccurate. Include a source if you have one.
How We Handle It
Clear factual errors in our own wording are corrected as soon as we confirm them.
If a linked source retracts or substantially corrects its story, we remove or update our item.
Because the front page is a current snapshot, older items age off naturally; corrections to items still on the page are made directly.
Our Standard
We do not knowingly publish anything false, and we do not farm fear. The test for every item: after reading, is the reader better informed and steadier — not more misled or more afraid?

What we had
The Signal published at 155.8, most recently as of August 17, 2026.
What was wrong
Our source feed publishes a file every half hour, 48 a day, and our download runs each morning. The afternoon and evening files do not exist yet at that hour, and until August 19 our tool recorded every one of them as permanently absent and never went back for them. Five days, August 14 through 18, were therefore measured on roughly half their files, and always the same half of the clock. That is a sampling error, not a reporting error, but it fed the published number.
What it is now
155.2 as of August 18, 2026. The 114 missing files were downloaded, 64 daily lane values were recomputed on the complete sample, and the full weekly instrument chain was rebuilt on the corrected data. The download tool now holds back files that have not been published yet instead of writing them off, so the gap cannot recur.

What we had

What was wrong
The NYU release is dated November 5, 2025 — an August 8 audit recorded this fix, but the page never carried it. The House press release is dated July 22, 2026. The NBC/AP story was published July 30, 2026.
What it is now

What we had
An item carrying the World Gold Council's first-quarter figure for central-bank gold purchases: 244 tonnes.
What was wrong
The World Gold Council revised its Q1 figure to 57 tonnes. Our item still carried the superseded number.
What it is now
The item has aged off the front page; this ledger carries the revision. Where that figure is cited again, it is 57 tonnes.

What we had
An NBC News report from the first day after the M7.1 Kumamoto earthquake, carrying a toll of 13 dead. We stamped it JUL 30 when the report was datelined JUL 28.
What was wrong
Two things. The stamp was not the date of the reporting, and a day-one casualty figure was still on the wire after the toll had risen well past it.
What it is now
Repointed to Nippon.com, stamped AUG 3, toll 38 as of 14:00 on Aug 3. The NBC item stays in our internal record as the item corrected.

What we had

What was wrong
Two different headlines on the wire pointed at the same destination, and the destination was a summary rather than the document being summarised.
What it is now
Repointed to the full text of the agreement at the Times of Israel, so the reader can check the wording against our framing.
